Invitation to the First HR Committee Session of the French-Finnish Chamber of Commerce

Dear Network,

We are excited to announce the launch of the HR Committee of the French-Finnish Chamber of Commerce (CCFF) in 2025. This committee is open to anybody and aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between French and Finnish businesses on various HR topics, including hiring, employee retention, training, diversity, and inclusion.

First Session Details:

• Date: 15th January 2025

• Time: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

• Location: Hedman Partners Office, Pitkänsillanranta 3 A, 00530 Helsinki

• Fee: Free

• Session Topic: Well-being and Employee Experience in 2025

Key Discussion Points:

• Regulatory requirements in France and Finland

• HR processes to support employees' well-being globally

• The role of leadership in employees' well-being in a global environment

Additional Topics (Last 15-20 minutes):

• EU Pay Transparency Directive

• Update on important case laws in France that Finnish organizations must be aware of

About the HR Committee:
The HR Committee is designed to provide a platform for members to share knowledge, promote best practices, support diversity and inclusion, enhance leadership skills, address common HR challenges, and strengthen connections between French and Finnish businesses. 

Here are some key details about how the committee works:

• Meeting Frequency: The committee will meet once a quarter in a breakfast format, lasting a maximum of 3 hours (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with coffee and mingling from 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM). Additionally, there will be one casual after-work event around Christmas (pikkujoulu).

• Working Language: English

• Participation Fee: Participation is free of charge for CCFF members. Non-members are also welcome to attend.
