Hiring an employee in France or in Finland
Hiring an employee in France or in Finland
The French-Finnish Chamber of Commerce had the opportunity on Thursday, May 25, to organize its first hybrid
event of the year thanks to the support and cooperation of our member HPP Attorneys. The event was held at their
premises in Helsinki as well as online from everywhere in the world via Teams. We gathered 30 participants to learn
about: Hiring an employee in France or in Finland.
A fascinating meeting which took place thanks to the valuable contribution of 5 speakers specialized in human
resources and labor law:
Marie-Zoé Belon-Laitinen, Seasons HR Management, Business development director
Aude Goulon, Nessy Consulting, HR projects expert
Guillaume Jeannerot, Edenred, Chief Financial Officer
Bertrand Reynaud, Consultant, Negotiator
Henna Wiklund, HPP Attorneys, Partner, Head of Employment
During almost two hours of discussions, we were able to discover and understand in more detail the cultural
differences between France and Finland but also their similarities in terms of employability thanks to the feedback
from the speakers. The different topics covered were:
Overview of some data of Finland and France
Terms of employment
Amending terms of employment
Specific terms of employment
Termination of employment
You can find the contact details of the various speakers at the end of the presentation.
They will be delighted to discuss with you and answer your questions on what has been presented or on any other
subject related to human resources or labor law in France or Finland.
We will continue to organize other such events in 2023 and do not forget our highlighted point of the year: our
French-Finnish Business Forum that is going to take place in Helsinki on the 26th of September 2023 to celebrate the
100th anniversary of the CCFF in Paris.
In the meantime, do not hesitate to continue to follow us on our social networks and our website. Nähdään !
