Event at the Finland Chamber of Commerce
The French-Finnish Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank the Finland Chamber of Commerce for a memorable visit they organised to our members and partners on their premises.
Some 30 people representing our member companies, among others Savosolar, Kopper, Vialingua and Pamplemousse, and our partners such as the French Embassy and Business Finland, participated in the networking event.
Hereunder the summary of the event by Ville Vuorensola, Senior Advisor, International Affairs at the Finland Chamber of Commerce:
Finland has many trade partners around the world, with close friend France being one of the most important ones. The trade between these two countries has been constantly diversifying during the last years, but the French market is still heavily underused from a Finnish point of view.
Such a message was presented Thursday 9th June, at a special visit of the French-Finnish Chamber of Commerce to the Finland Chamber of Commerce (Keskuskauppakamari).
Visitors from the FFCC were warmly welcomed by the Finland Chamber of Commerce Team for internationalisation and trade. Three short presentations were given at the event. Lenita Toivakka, Director for International Trade, presented the history, goals and activities of the Finland Chamber of Commerce. President Liisa Ketomäki then introduced the work and mission of the French-Finnish Chamber of Commerce. Senior Adviser for International Affairs Ville Vuorensola presented Finnish trade and strengths in general, trade between Finland and France and results of the soon-ending French EU-Presidency from a Finnish point of view.
Presentations were followed by relaxed networking in a summer atmosphere with good French wine and cherries.
